Mini Ladies razor ??

Today I saw in a shop (antique) a miniature ladies razor. It was a 3 piece, looked like the part under the blade was bakelite, but the handle and top plate were metal. It had a mini blade in it (1/2" by 1/4" maybe) and had a spare blade in a tiny case (.75" case maybe)

Unfortunately I had no camera with me, and passed on the price, but it sure was a curious item.

It seemed fully functional, but less than an inch big in total.

Anyone heard, of ? Seen ? Know what it might be worth ?

my wife corrects my memory - she thinks it was closer to 1" by 5/8" or so.

Hard to get any scale from those pics above.

The one we saw came in a wee rectangular box, and neither of us remember the word "kewtie" on it.

Of course our memories are not to be fully counted on, it may have been a Kewtie. Thanks for the tip.

There were several brands of mini-lady razors such as the Laurel and Myatt. They were for shaving upper lips and chins. My granny had one and always shaved the long hairs that popped up on her chin.

Thanks GI, for the info, and the memories of my great gran, who I have no idea if she had a mini razor or not, (could have) but was an amazing woman who I love to remember whenever I can.

(I have her personalized fountain pen, which I will post about here on B&B someday)

I think I may contact the shop and see if I can procure the razor for my collection after all.
Imagine telling folks who visit what it was used for....
