Not sure. I've never tried the one you mentioned, but I've used Myrsol Plastic Shave (pink in color and rose scented). I've noticed that it has lactic acid in the ingredient list. Lactic acid is an AHA I believe.... or a BHA.... not sure. At any rate, I would think that a "milk" aftershave would contain lactic acid and would therefore have some exfoliating properties associated with it. I use an AHA night cream/lotion and it's done wonders to even out the tone of my facial skin. I've never noticed any redness or irritation either like some people may. Skin types vary though.

Sorry, I guess I'm not much help. Maybe the Myrsol stuff is completely different from the SCS Rose Milk AS.... I'm not familar with the SCS AS so I can't say for sure.

I have the Extract of Limes Milk aftershave from SCS and it is freaking awesome. I have oily skin and typically hate balms but this stuff leaves me with smooth, soothed skin. No tacky feeling at all. I love it. The scent doesn't linger for long at all which is fine with me.

SCS milks are top shelf. They perform as well as any branded skin food/milks/balms for a fraction of the price. Try some samples or go head first.

I like aftershave milks. I have the DR Harris aftershave milk and use it regularly. The Shave Den also makes a very nice and thin aftershave milk.

I have both of these, and find that the SCS absorbs more quickly. Believe me, a little goes a long way. I liked the Lime Milk so much that I picked up the splash to use during warmer weather. The scent is fleeting, and does not clash with anything.
