Yesterday we spread my grandparent’s ashes. In celebration of their lives we all had a drink. Some drank wine, and a few of us drank whiskey. The whiskey of choice was Midleton Very Rare. Let me tell you, it was an exquisite whiskey, the best I have had yet! I cannot even begin to describe to you how smooth it was. Extremely flavorful, yet extremely balanced. It was a perfectly fitting drink for the occasion.

sounds like a perfect way to honor them. I love irish whiskey but I've always been way too cheap to try midleton. thanks for posting this, and i'm sorry for the loss of your grandparents.
