Early in my straight RAD, I pick up a Sheffield microtome, not knowing what is was. After two years, I finally decided to do something with it.
Ebony handle, forced patina. Have not shaved with it yet.

Is a forced patina anything like tang bluing?

I use a 10% Nitric acid solution, produces an instant color change to carbon steel.
