Lather is very mild, as expected from a
Castile.... Works well , nothing special , gets you clean enough. The scent is a mystery, I've smelled it before in aftershaves from the 50's and 60's , maybe Sportsman , or Kingsmen ??
CP has a factory there.for colgate palmolive ??
I've used Kirk's since the 1960's , a great full lathering soap that hasn't cheapened their formula all these decades .This is odd, normally castile oil soaps are not made with tallow....mainly used are veggie oils. The most common are Dr Bronners or Kirks Castile soap bar, both are based on coconut and/or palm oils saponified with sodium hydroxide (to make a solid soap).
