Metal polishes

I'm cleaning up a '64 Slim I got on eBay, and was wondering what kind of metal polish would be best for the job. I saw a few mentions of Flitz as well as Maas. And both brands have offerings in both creme/paste and liquid varieties. I'd imagine liquid would be less abrasive, but I thought I'd seek some input from the experts here.

I have had good luck using Maas and wright's brass polish. I generally like using a toothbrush with wright's. That slim should clean up nice...
