Say what you will about Merkur quality lately, but as far as the pure shave goes, I am hard pressed to find anything that shaves as close as the slant. Every time I stray from her, I have to ask myself "Why?"

I've got a merkur 39c and 37 c slanted. They shave very smooth. (BBS)
But not a beginners razor. If you don't have enough skill this razor will bite you.
During my first shave with this razor I had a lot nicks and cuts, but I have improved my shavingskills with this razor, and I dont have nicks and cuts anymore
A very nice razor. For me its my daily razor, sometimes I switch to my Fatboy also a great razor!

I purchased my 39c over a year ago. No quality issues, only quality shaves.
Sweet.. It's been a little over a year since I touched my 37C..
I ordered a Merkur 39c a few days ago and I feel both anticipation and excitement for when it arrives in the mail...
