Unlikely. Cedar is very reputable. I've bought a few items from him & his wife and they have always been top-notch in terms of condition, beautifully packed and clean clean clean. The hoffritz straight I got from him was shave-ready and totally spotless. It still is!

You get what you pay for when you buy from cedar. They manage to find a lot of very interesting items. I just wish I could stay in those auctions, frankly.

I just said my thought. For example if that 17 Gold flare tip Aristocrat was his auction, that razor would go %50 more of previous price. That is a nice score. We can not see vintage Merkur Progress in gold very often. By the way I like my Hoffritzs.
