Sound's like you have picked your next razor. Gillette Super Adjustable. A good razor. Make sure you get a long handled one since that is what you are looking for. Remember that the black resin is not the most durable and whether you get the all metal head version or the part plastic head version, these are light razors for their size and you must have a light hand in shaving with them.

I have both the Lady Gillette, and a Gillette Adjustable with the black handle... They were both a joy to use, when I still used them, and either would be a great choice... The Lady Gillette is a rather mild shaver, so it takes a little more finesse to get that perfect shave, but the ample handle is wonderful... I'd personally recommend getting the Adjustable so you can dial in your preference. It's quite helpful once you find the right setting.

Also, the Gillette Adjustable I've got doesn't have a black resin handle, it has a metal handle like the Lady Gillette's, only black (dye? Enamel? No clue) and it's very resilient... I actually put it through my buffers to shine the dial and head up, and the black didn't fade in the least
