I noticed you can buy this razor in different finishes. Which finish has a better grip?

I have experinece with only one finish and that is the matte version, and I've had no problem what so ever with the grip. I have the vision and the futur but I've been using the futur for quite a while. Of course all of this is YMMV AND IMHO ! My vote would be for the matte !
Same here, I have the matte version, and it's almost spooky that it provides such decent grip despite the smooth shape. And I speak as someone who doesn't keep his hands dry during the shave. I'd be interested to know if the gold version does so well, I find myself lusting after one.
I have had the matte and the chrome finish. I have not had a problem with either, but I think the chrome finish provides a slightly better grip. As with any razor, exercise caution with wet, soapy hands. The Futur is a great razor.

I have the Futur in chrome and have used the vision with the matte finish. I think the matte offers a slightly better grip between the two if they get wet/soapy but I keep a towel hanging by my sink to dry my hands and razor so it's not a problem.

I have the chrome finish Futur, have been using it for years and I use it almost every day. Don't be fooled by the shine - it is not at all slippery - neither is the matte. They both feel the same in the hand...
Shiny is smoother than matte.
To get the shine, you have to polish, thus, making it smoother.
I am going to say you will get a better grip on the matte than the polished (I have tried both and not only is this my "theory", it is also my "hands on experience",)
