Merkur de blades

I don't know why, but these were one of the last blades in my sampler that I tried. I really enjoyed the shaves I got with them, plus tonight was shave seven with the same blade and I think it might be good for one or two more. I know they are on the expensive side but the longevity might make up for that.

Here's a perfect example of YMMV. Merkur blades don't get much love around here, but there are members who rank them right at the top. If they work so well for you then you may have found your own best blade.

I like a more forgiving blade so Merkur is one of my favorites. As with all blades I toss them after 2 shaves, so I limit their use to my 34G.
