I just bought one from a B&Ber on BST. I have not used it yet but I do look forward to it.
Merkur 34c, is it worth trying?

I started with the 34C and still have it, though I haven't used it in a looooooong time. Honestly, while at first I thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread, it ended up eclipsed by all that came later. It does provide a nice mild shave, and has good balance and all that, but I don't personally feel it can hold a candle to something like a GC .84 or Rockwell.
