Do other razors like the 34HD have the same head as the 1904 closed comb?

Yes, the Merkur 1904 and the 34C share the same head.

Thanks, what other razors have the same head? I want to try something that does not have the same head so that might be a better question

Merkur adjustables have a different head.

The 38C and it's colored-handle variants have the same head as the HC and 1904CC.
The newer, black handled fixed heads are the same as well (20C and 30C, I believe).

The Merkur "Bakelite" razor has a different head.

Wow, I didnt know that Merkur was like EJ and Muhle in that they had so many options with the same head
