Great work! That's the thing, hardly any of us were actually taught how to shave properly. We stumble around trying things until we find the system that is the least abusive to our face. Seems a little odd to be taught by a superior or fellow troop, but whatever works. I'm sure he'll thank you for it! Do us proud.

I think this is one of the best things you can do.
make him shave for a week under your supervision.

some day he's going to tell a story that goes some thing like, "when I was in the service...and thats how I learned to shave."

awesome! Going to start with the Tech?

I'll let him chose
I've been shaving with DEs for about a week and a half now after receiving four very different razors in a PIF. before that I was using straights almost exclusively. so I'm really no expert in DE shaving. Though I find the open comb to be extremely user friendly in my hands. personally I have found in my short time using DEs that I really really reeeeeeaaaaly like the Gillette slim adjustable I received.
these will be loaners BTW.

Very good. Get him on the road to a DFS and let him go from there. Of course, be sure to warn him about the ravages of AD......

Nicely done! You are truly doing the good work, that is one lucky young man! Keep it classy, keep it safe. Thank you for your service!

One of the Master Sgt. over me liked Grateful Dead. When I was stationed over in Okinawa it was hard to get new music so he turned me onto tape (cdr) trading. I really appreciated that. I know the airman you turned on wet shaving to will appreciate it (or at least I hope he does).
