Menthol Shaving Cream/Soap

I like Proraso. I have a tub of the sensitive skin formula in the white tub and a jar of their pre/post balm.

The menthol is definately there, but its not overpowering. It leaves my face nice and cool without being uncomfortable.

Try the Valobra shave soap. It's a soft soap easily moldable to any container, is lightly mentholated, and is a truly excellent product. Probably available at the usual B&B oriented e-tailers.

I have the green like you posted and it is great.

I've been using this new Menthol Barbasol stuff lately. I actually kind of like it but I was looking to get away from the barbasol stuff and I found this http://www.amazon.com/Proraso-Shaving-Eucalyptus-Menthol-Formulation/dp/B00837YY18
...reviews look good but anyone here try it? Anyone have any other recommendations for a menthol based soap?

I just want to make sure the menthol isn't too strong. I like the chill I get from it but not too much.

Thanks,
BB

Proraso... What's that?... Just one of the best creams out there. You should definitely give it a spin. It's great stuff, if you like menthol. Great classic smell. It is my go-to shaving cream.

If you don't already have a brush, I can highly recommend the Semogue 1520 (big ones) or the Omega 11047(small one). Both are great brushes, for under/around $20.

Let us know what you think after you use the Proraso. Good luck, and enjoy!

And if you like the Proraso green, try Proraso red! It has a wonderful light smell of sandalwood and shea butter, and it seems more slick than the menthol version.
