Mens garter straps

my brain goes "thonk"
Ok Gents, I have a question. What do you call the elastic straps that hook to the bottom of your shirt and at the top of your socks. I had yo wear them when I was in the military and I forgot the name of them.If someone knows please let me know and where I can find them. They kept your shirt from rising up out of your trousers.

I believe they are called shirt stays. I tried them for awhile and they did a good job keeping the shirt nicely tucked.

We call them shirt stays in the Corps.

I typically only wear them with Charlies or Bravos. Hate 'em, but its better than looking like a dirt bag...

Just looked them up to see what they looked like. Spent 1961 to 1988 in the Navy, and this is the first I have seen mention of them. Took aviation officer candidate training and flight training with Navy and Marine personnel. When did these come about?
