I like the color of the Georgetown G5 but the Dirtybird, IMHO is of better quality.
I loved my DB 1.5 when I bowl lathered. Those are some fine looking scuttles.
I have a DB Bill bowl, but find the diameter perhaps too large, what's the diameter on the scuttle?
Nice scuttles Mendel, thanks for sharing! I sold my DB but retain and love my G-5. They are both wonderful scuttles.
I had a G5 a while ago and wish I kept it. Nice set.

forgot to say, beautiful scuttles Mendel. The glaze on your DB is the same as mine, i love it.
i agreed, they both are great scuttles, but build quality goes to DB, but i think the G5 is a more polished looking scuttle.
can't go wrong with either.

I'm lucky enough to have recently came upon a G5 from the B/S/T section and am loving it. I still might have to pick up a DB, but I really liked the fact that I could plug the G5, and it's a bit smaller. Though now looking back, the larger bowls must be pretty nice for bowl lathering.
