Meijer Blades?

This question is geared more toward those in the Midwest...

I was wondering about the Meijer Injector blades. Has anyone tried them?

How about their SE blades? Any good?

Thanks!

Meijer offers a full range of blades under their name, DE, SE and injector.

The DE's and injectors are made ASR.

The SE's have a notation on the back of the card: "Made in Korea," which suggests they're made by Dorco.

The Meijer DE blades stand out above all the other U.S. Personnas sold at Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Rite Aid, etc. that have been discussed here and elsewhere ad infinitam ad nauseam:

The Meijer DE's are both platinum treated and "Comfort Coated, a registered trademark of ASR." (Right from the back of the package card.) The best of DE U.S. Personnas, but not as good as many blades available online.

I agree with roffles about the Meijer-branded DE blades. They cut me up on the third day. I expect six shaves and not to get nicked even. I wonder if the blade got ragged as well.

Rufus, if these are better than the other Personnas, then no way am I going to try them—even in a pinch. Astras bought on line were much better.

Has anyone found injectors at Meijer's recently? They put them all on clearance last year when CVS and Rite Aid did. To me, the injectors were the standard ASR store brand one. Rough on the first shave, prone to weepers, but relatively inexpensive, and sometimes on sale (or BOGO), which kind of made up for it.........

Nope. ASR stopped supplying retail stores with injectors last year.
