Owen, we could meet up in a dark bar somewhere and laugh our asses off.
I hope one day to meet up with you. One of my Fredericksburg trips may be the best opportunity. I will be down there this thanksgiving, and my oldest granddaughter is home and will be going with us, so maybe she can keep the wife occupied for a while. We can sit down in a brewery and toss a few back.

We've been to the one in Houston a few times and have enjoyed it every time. That soup is quite good!

I’ve never had soufflé before. I am thinking of going with lobster soufflé for the entree, and the Grand Marnier for dessert.
My 26th anniversary was on the 28th, but I asked for today off to have a 3 day weekend. We had our dinner tonight. Nothing fancy, just the restaurant in the Embassy Suites in Irving. My wife loves their pistachio chicken, so I couldn’t say no. I started with an Old Fashioned (the empty glass) and French Onion soup, followed by their smaller prime rib. I mentioned that something was wrong with my OF- it seemed to have disappeared kind of quickly. I fixed that a few minutes later.

We are having breakfast tonight. Scrambled eggs with bacon bits, biscuits and honey and coffee.
Pump the brakes! The cook called an audible. Fried eggs, real bacon, biscuits, honey & coffee. I wish I had some gravy.

I’m glad we have some interesting food options in the place we live. Today my better half wanted to shop Korean. Who am I to argue? We cam home with a bunch of good food for the week. Tonight is smoked duck breast, rice, squash and chili sauce (for the duck)

Spent the day watching college football and avoiding political speeches. Watched Texas beat West Virginia, Oklahoma State beat Kansas State and now I’m watching Clempson at Notre Dame. Oh, and I did the laundry while I watched the games.
I was in the mood for some good Chinese food.
