Picked up a user grade #15 recently, but it may not be safe for use! After lockdown the silo doors remain somewhat loose, they jangle when you shake the razor. The problem mostly goes away with a blade in place, however you can still get the silo doors to lift a bit wedging a fingernail between the doors and the blade side fin. I've never had this problem with a TTO razor and never taken one of these apart. Any suggestions?

I have a 66 that does the same. I put it in the ultrasonic for just a few minutes & the whole thing came apart. Mine had an aqua colored epoxy, I think, holding it together. My best guess is that the epoxy had become brittle & dry allowing it to open up one thread too many. I can now take mine apart by opening the doors, pushing down on the blade bar, & turning the handle. I need to strip the old epoxy off & apply new to get everything back the way it should be. I have a feeling too that this is why they tend to "hang" up partially.
Not something I really wanted to learn, but hey, if its apart, might as well examine the inner workings!
