MdC Father's Day discount?

Does MdC offer a discount during the time surrounding Father's Day? I thought I vaguely remember this from last year but wasn't sure. Thanks.

You know they do. They better. What a minute.... I have two nearly full jars.... what do I care this year for? :biggrin1:

(Seriously..... I think they do. Last year the coupon code was "papachou" or something like that I believe. That means "dad cabbage" in French.... can that be right? )

Thanks, Ben. My jar is half empty and I missed a jar on the BST last night. Thought I would wait and see if a discount is offered and then maybe order 200ml jars of both the scented and the fougere.

Ah.... the fougere. I have not a jar of that scent. Hmmm.... Well, you gotta order at least two jars of MdC at a time to make the trip worthwhile I say. Maybe I will just wait til next year.

Ben-

I was recently PIF'd a sample of the fougere shave soap. I would agree with many regarding the scent. When compared to the fougere bath soap sample many of use receive with the shave soap, I would describe it as a slightly muted version, with less woods/smoke and more citrus. My nose picks up a commonality between the fougere and the scented MdC and as odd as this will sound- every time I smell the fougere sample, I get a hint of chewing gum before it evolves into a more complex scent. But to be honest, my nose is not that sophisticated. I'm just a hillbilly from Tennessee so take my descriptions with caution.

Thanks for the description. I trust a hillbilly from Tennessee's sniffer just as much as my own. The fougere bath soap is quite strong.... and when it comes to fougeres, there's a pretty wide spectrum of notes that qualify.

I agree- the fougere bath soap is quite strong, and to be honest, not appealing to me. However, the fougere scent of the shave soap is very pleasing and in my opinion, will likely be more appealing to a broader range of individuals.
