What's new

Maybe there's something to this face care thing

Prior to wetshaving I never paid much attention to face car. Since May of last year that has changed. I really noticed the dividends yesterday. I spent 2.5 hours on the tractor clearing snow in ~20 degree temperatures. When I got done I took a look at my face and the areas I shave (cheeks and neck) were not discolored at all. However, the area below my eyes, sides of my nose and above my beard were bright red. Prior to wetshaving my whole face would be red. Just an interesting observation I thought my fellow wetshaving friends might be interested in hearing.

And I always thought that was because guys had one too man! )

If you use balm post-shave, please try an experiment and let us know what happened. Rub it over all of your face - not just where you shave. I did this on a recent trip to CT and NY with wind chills around zero and while my hands (no gloves) suffered, my face didn't! In Georgia we don't get too many chances to try things in cold temps!!
