I'm sorry for the late response but I wanted to get a few shaves in with this soap before I commented. I really like this soap. The scent smells exactly like laundry brought in after hanging on a line outside. It's a pleasant, fresh and clean scent that really goes with about anything. The base is fantastic. It's fairly soft so my first go I overloaded the brush but it handled all the water I could throw at it. I like my lather on the thinner side and I like to paint it on. This soap had a nice sheen with zero bubbles and it showed no signs of dissipating. It's very slick and protective with excellent residual slickness that allowed for buffering. I finished my shave with my typical routine of witch hazel and alum and there was zero irritation. I then used the leftover lather as an aftershave. The scent lasted a few hours and I was really impressed with the hydration this soap gives. This is a top tier soap and will easily find its way into my rotation.
