after hearing that master is going to discontinue the small size aftershave bottles i made a run to atlanta barber beauty supply.i picked up 15 oz bottles of--focus,challenge,spice,topaz,lord and master,master blue,lilac vegetal and the feared iceland breeze,@ 4.95 us $.
i passed on the red and gold musks until after the new year.(right now barbasol and aqua velva fill that niche.)i also grabbed a small pack of dorco blades for a buck.

I noticed Appleton Barber Supply has a new Master's scent called "Champaign" - I could not find any further information about it...

what size are they discontinuing? the 1oz or the 6oz? or everything except the gallon??

the rumor is they will only be producing gallon sizes.a member here had posted that info last week after talking with a company rep.i have sent the company an e-mail and got no reply.
i had seen the champagne scent online,but it was not avalable in atlanta.

so far i have worn for a day the spice,topaz and lord and master.the spice is nice a little "sunnier",more energetic smelling than old spice,the topaz is a lighter old spice i think i smell ginger in both of them.the wife gave a thumbs up to topaz.she did not do a sniff test on the other two.the lord and master i like.
the iceland breeze---yes, i did smell it in the store. definitely odd.but i decided to brave it.yesterday i applied some to my wrists and rubbed it in.a strong sweet floral smell.that faded down to pine scent with floral.i almost think that it is a mix of focus(a brut-pine) scent and lilac vegetol..must give it a few more chances around the house before i wear it out.
