Marlin Blades

I recently purchased an old Marlin Blades box which was accompanied by numerous used blades. As I sorted through them I noticed that the center punches were different. Was the punch out changed through the years due to changes in the razors or was this an engineering change? I have three different versions for the Marlin Blades. The fourth blade is to show the different font style used on "High Speed".

Thanks for your research. This history of Marlin linked below has pictures and details. It appears Marlin actually only made its own blades for 8 years and purchased blades from a multitude of companies during the rest of the 30 years it sold blades.........

I just came across this ad in a 1936 issue of Popular Science, thought I'd share it here. Wasn't aware Marlin made blades until I saw this. I love old ads like this.

This ad was when they were buying them from others. Perhaps why they say they blades are for a limited time...
