ABout time to bump this guy and to get your meers out of hiding...
I am out this year. Too many other pipes have been tempting me.Might save some shekels for this years Meer March.
Me too. That is unless Baki has a pipe that I just can't live without!I'll be smoking my same pipes from last year. Unless something happens....
Very cool.. and man, that reminded me I have one of those vintage meer bowls for my Kirsten. I'll have to make sure to get that into the March rotation as well.Something happened....won a bid on a Vintage Kirsten with three bowls, one of which is a meer, so that will be added to the mix.
It is actually very lightly smoked, the colour is put there by the factory. This is quite common with pipes made from African meerschaum.Looks very well smoked. Great looking meer!
Nothing wrong with that one. Nice pipe! Here's the pic:

Smallish and inexpensive. Didn't want to go bank on my first meer. Can't wait until the 1st!
Definitely . I enjoy them quite a bit. Probably don't smoke them as much attention as I should. Not really a pipe to use when out working it the yard or multi tasking.Well . . . seems this thread was revived.
So I need to ask now in retrospect, for those who did. . . did buying a meerschaum meet your expectations?
And avoid possums.Definitely . I enjoy them quite a bit. Probably don't smoke them as much attention as I should. Not really a pipe to use when out working it the yard or multi tasking.
