Preshave: Hot washcloth
Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Brush: Yaqi 24mm synthetic cashmere
Razor: Rockwell 6S R6, Al Handle, Astra SP #6
Bowl: Turkish copper
Post-shave: Nivea Balm, Hyaluronic Acid.

Since I like the .84 Game Changer, I decided to try the Rockwell R6 plate (0.79mm) again.

That was pleasant enough, and got me an irritation-free DFS. I don't think it shaves one day's growth any better than R5 or R4, though.

I fell to temptation and bought 2 smaller diameter storage containers for my Cattie's Bubbles, an Stirling Barbershop soaps.
The original containers were to large in diameter to fit in my den's storage rack.
After cleaning, the original containers are now a paper clip holder, while the other one holds small binder clips.

The Pearl holds the blade better but you have to align it by hand.
They feel pretty similiar and I would have to shave side by side with them to see if I have a preference.
