It took a few weeks to get back from being blasted, but the Tinsky I ordered in February arrived. 2017 Christmas Pipe, ** Golden Blast.

No pictures, but I picked up some pruners at the hardware store the other day. They make short work of ropes, and in a pinch you can use them in the garden.

Got this jägerpfeife today, but after doing some reading, I'm a little wary of smoking it. Apparently these ones were meant for the tourist trade, and the porcelain cracks easy.

Mail call! Got a Peterson Irish Made Army Prince (406), and aTsuge Capito egg. Not shown is the tin of St. Patrick's Day Reserve that was free with the Pete.

The Tsuge is smaller than I expected.

It's an interesting little pipe, though. It's got a removable bowl with a unique filter system (which I won't be using).

There are obvious comparisons to be made with Falcons, but it's different enough to not be considered a Falcon clone.

Interesting! Never seen a Tsuge like that.

It's a neat little pipe. Pretty small, though. Even the mini cobs, which everybody says make for a good 5 minute smoke, last me 20 minutes. This Tsuge really is a 5 minute pipe.

Here are a few more pictures to give a better idea of its size. I've included my favorite Falcon for reference. It's a little dirty, though.

This one shows just how short the chamber is. The bowl and base fit together like a Radiator, rather than like a Falcon, so the chamber is only about half the depth of the bowl.

Hello, everyone. This is my first post in a long time, so long it scares me. The current semi-confinement has meant that every other day I work from home, which in turn has increased my pipe-enjoying time. March has witnessed the following acquisitions:

One tin of Hamborger Veermaster, one tin of Da Vinci and one Peterson 999 Christmas pipe. I had been eyeing that particular model and finish for some time, I like burgundy, brown, warm colours.

I have also bought some GLP Gaslight, Capstan and SG Golden Glow, but sadly no picture for those.

Welcome back! That's a lovely Pete you picked up.
