Mappin & Webb shaving set

I’ve recently bought this Mappin & Webb shaving/vanity set which is need of a little tlc. I can’t find much info online about it, does anyone have a rough idea of age?

Just a guess but the razor could be an English 1940s Thin Handle Tech, which would date the set approximately if the razor was an original component.

Judging by the Flat Bottom Tech I would say post war, late 1940's.

The FBT looks well-used, and may be contemporary with the set.
