Mama Bear shave stick to soap bowl?

I bought a MB shave stick but I dont really like trying to get a good lather with it, so I want to put it into a bowl and use it as a puck of soap. Can I melt it in the microwave right in the stick container, and then pour it into a bowl I want to use?

Twist it all the way up so it comes up out of the container then you should be able to remove the soap with your fingers.. you can then grate it into your bowl (or just cut into a bunch of tiny pieces) and smoosh it into place.
