Making Tea

Hey guys

In my recent move; I have misplaced my teacup with built in infuser (I think it was a bodum). I really enjoyed it.

So, unless I find it tomorrow, I am in the market for another way to make some tea.

I generally make only one or two cups a day.

I have a tea ball infuser (for mugs); I also have a two cup Bodum teapot (with a larger plastic infuser).

I guess I am looking for something that lets the tea expand a little more than the ball and that tea does not get stuck in the plastic infuser.

any suggestions??

thanks guys

Try a Chatsford teapot from Upton Tea Imports. They are wonderful teapots -- easy to use with the built in infuser -- and Upton is a great company to deal with.

I have a small french press that will hold enough for 2 large cups. It is, of course, dedicated to tea steeping, and never used for coffee. It's not nearly as sophisticated-looking as some of the tea pots, but is is very functional, has TONS of room for expansion and allows for re-steeping easily

edit - plus it's very inexpensive.

Target carries the bodum yoyo which is what I think you had. They also have some other nice bodum tea preparation ware. Im personally using a gaiwan nowadays for lose leaf tea and pu-erh. I picked up mine from Steve aka netsufer he will hook you up.
