Making gluhwein for the first time, any suggestions?

There are so many recipes out there, like sangria. If you have a favorite, I’d love to hear it.

Ugh, not home now so I don’t have my resipes with me. Seems though that we preferred using less sugar (2/3 to 3/4) of what was actually called for. Maybe start with 1/2 of the sugar and add from there.

Great advice, the recipes I came across were way to sweet.
 
I’ve made it a few times now, and the wife absolutely loves it. I used Grand Mariner with a splash of triple sec. It has replaced eggnog in our house, at least this year.
