Has anyone ever taken two Valobra shave sticks and grated them and made a puck out of them? I understand that I would probably have to cut the stick into small cubes and use a cheese grater and place all the shavings in a bowl but what do I use to bond the shavings together...water?

I used this method to mill a stick of Valobra into a bowl, but I didn't use another bowl to tamp the soap down - instead I used an espresso tamper. Putting the wax paper over the soap before tamping is key, otherwise the shavings stick to anything that touches them. You can sprinkle a few drops of water into the soap shavings before tamping, but I found it doesn't make a lick of difference.
