Maintaining a Rolls Razor Strop

Should I be applying any dressing to my Rolls Razor strop before use? If so, what do you recommend. I’m quite new to this so any advice welcome.

No, IMHO. Apply neats foot oil every few months to prevent drying and cracking. A drop or two in the palm of the hand and then rubbed in well is all you need unless the strop is already cracked and crazed. Daily application would be severe overkill.
