Magical Minty AS Splash trick

So, I'm sitting there thinking how much I like the combo of citrus and mint;

I grab my osage rub and my Royall Mandarin. I splash both into my hand, and apply normally.

BAM!

This is it.

Next day, same thing, Except Osage + Royall Lyme =

ZING.......Perfect!


Next day, Let's get more adventurous. Ferrari Passion Splash + Osage =

BOING>>!>!>>!!

Amazing.


I might need to keep a few gallons of Osage around just to try these outrageous flavour combinations!

This is a trick of mine to get by on those hot 'n' humid Carolina summer days. I use the OR, and then apply the AV as soon as I can see straight!

Incidentally - I tried the Osage & Royall Mandarin this morning - yow! Very nice (in my opinion, the Mandarin is the weakest of the Royall scents - this helped.) and I'm gonna try Osage with other things.

Lime Sec is something I never use - on the back of my shelf....

Today I mixed it with Osage... VER' NICE!

I used Mama's Lime Ice shaving soap & the combination was limey & cold & great!

(I followed it with the always disappointing GFT Extract of Limes cologne.)

All in all - a great shave & great AS combination.

today, I did Aqua Velva Blue + Osage.

It was the least interesting combo I've tried.

I won't do this mix again. It doesn't smell particularly good either.

Osage & Rose... I mixed Osage & the M&L Roses cologne.

Mighty interesting.
(I liked it - but I'm not too sure of it, if you know what I mean.)


...followed a shave with SCS Savory Rose SC; Czech & Speake #88 on top.

Got mine at Texasbeautysupplies.com. Only took a couple of days. They are located in Carrollton, and I think I gave about 4 or 5 dollars for it.

For those of you considering trying this combo, be aware that Osage Rub does have a detectable "powdery" scent once the menthol smell has faded away. I enjoy it (heck, my girlfriend LOVES it), but do realize it might alter other scents just a bit.
