I am thinking of investing in a made-to-measure shirt. Does anyone have any experience with this process? Any advice?

My advise, don't try to save money. I baulked at paying $150+ at my local tailor. Instead, I found a local lad who took some measurements and showed me some swatches. At $75, the shirts were terrible. I suspect he had them made in China. I was told that Brooks Brothers custom shirts are very good.
I have had shirts made at Spiers & MacKay, and am very happy with them. Very comfortable fit.
