Made the Jump Today

I've been hesitant to make the jump from DE's to straights, not sure why, mainly fear I guess. But then again, I was a little afraid to make the jump from a fusion to a DE and that turned out very well. I just hope I have the patience to figure this out, I'm especially skeptical of shaving with my left hand. My game-plan is to use the straight on my cheeks and the DE on other areas until I get a little more comfortable with my technique. Today, I bought 2 straights, a A.W. Wadsworth BOSS 6/8 round-point in natural horn and a Clauss 5/8 square-point in faux ivory, from BST and a Filly strop from RupRazor for $100. I'm really excited to get started and plan on reading all the info I can but I'm sure I'll learn more by experience.

Thanks, I like the brown because its genuine horn, I couldn't resist the faux ivory because of the detailing on the handle. I think they'll make a nice starter/beginner combo.
