Made a Superlather today

So my cade soap has always been good to me, but it felt a little lacking for some reason. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it just isn't as oily as my creams, and I mean oily in a good way, like lubricating. Anyway, I picked up some Toms mint on closeout for $3. I love CO bigelow, but this stuff is just meh.

I've always thought superlathers are a little unnecessary, just over the top. But I made one today gentlemen, and let me tell you, that is exactly the point. It was so thick and luscious I felt bad tossing the 3 passes left I still had in the bowl. For those of you holdouts who dismiss this as exorbitant, try it, because for many of us the luxurious experience itself if why we are here

Thanks for sharing the postive results of your superlather. I've enjoyed them at times, too, and it's interesting how a so-so cream or soap can sometimes be used to good effect in a superlather. :thumbup1:

Where do you get glycerin? Everyone mentions food grade glycerin, but I don't think I've ever seen it or can think of a place that sells it?

You can get it at CVS, Walgreens, other drug stores, Vitamin Shoppe, and many grocery stores. Often it is carried in the first aid section for some reason. The best thing to do is to ask a clerk where it is.
