just curious as to how many of you guys own class 3 weapons? they are a bit on the pricy side, however it is something im planning on getting soon, most likely after i move out of the dictatorship of NY and down to the south.

I am talking with a Cl III dealer right now. Looking to get a suppressor. I shoot on the back of my property and just trying to disturb neighbors less. Good luck.
Would love to have one...but out here in California,get caught with one,even one legal in your state,and the prison sentence will be a very long one..
Maybe a $50 bottle of booze to thank the neighbors for being understanding? Use the leftover $150 for more ammo.
I don't have either but have used them. I got the chance to shoot a course with suppressed MP5 and a SCAR. They were both great to shoot. I have bore time using a supressor with a sig p226 and a sig p220 owned by a family member.

Next time see if you can "play" with a Swedish K... Very low cycle rate (550 rpm) and more fun than you should be allowed to have. It cycles so slow that you can do single shots with it easily. No selector on the M/45 (K model). Full auto only. It's a 9mm sub gun so a LOT more fun than the larger rifle cal to play with.
i know last fall i was gonna start the process for a suppressor , and ended up working 7 days a week so i never made it back to the dealer ect .. but i was told there is almost a 9-12month wait until you get your paper work approved and returned , not that it takes that long to do it all but because they only have a hand full of people that actually handle the paper work .. i could imagine the wait could be even longer now ..
I'm waiting on a form 1 and 4 to come back from the ATF right now. The form 1 is for a short barreled rifle I'm going to build, an AR type. The form for is an SWR Specwar 556 suppressor for the previously mentioned carbine. The paperwork is simple and takes just a few moments to fill out.
how long have you been waiting so far ?? i was also gonna apply to put a 10" or 12" on an AR ..
Not sure how it works but in RI the receiver needs to be purchased as a SBR (essentially a handgun). You can't take an existing AR and make it an SBR.
I have a Gemtech Outback II that I switch between a Buckmark and 10/22. Suppressors are pretty nice to have. My next purchase will probably be a Trek for .223.
I've only been waiting a few weeks, it took me awhile to get around to sending the paperwork for this one.
Doc, that doesn't sound right even for RI, as there is no barrier to building a short barreled rifle from an existing rifle, in other systems than an AR that's about the only way you can do it.
