Luxury Brush recs

I'm going to have several hundred dollars or more to spend for a new brush. Now here's the thing--I only want one brush, and plan to replace my Parker brush with this new one. I want it to be a nice and luxurious Badger, but still be an everyday performer. I plan to be using soap, and was bowl lathering, then went to face lathering. I find that my face gets too irritated when I face lather, and the lather simply isn't as good. I was thinking of a custom Shavemac, or possibly a Plisson, though some people have indicated that the Plisson simply isn't that good. I don't mind paying the extra money for this, or any other brush that someone would recommend, I just want to be sure that its worth it. I know YMMV, but any recs would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you've got that much to spend have something custom made. You would be able to specify handle shape, material, hair type, loft. You name it. Why buy off the peg when you can have tailor made?

A Rooney Heritage would make a great brush - I love my large Beehive. Though I have the Plisson 14 HMW (horn) in rotation right now. Excellent brush, I don't think you could go wrong with one.

If I was Scrooge McDuck I would probably have a quite word to Mycarver on this forum. I don't know if he sells them, but he makes probably the nicest brushes I have ever seen.
