Lunch Break SRAD

I just traded a piece of pottery that I didn't like for a straight razor over lunch!



It's a neat piece. Says "40" Made of Kayser Allison & Co's Best Sheffield Steel.

On the blade it reads Best Silver Steel on some nice scroll work.

The scales are closed on the bottom with two pins up by the Pivot. The Pivot has some play but nothing that would effect the shave.

I have never seen a razor like this one? Anyone else have one or know about this brand/model?

Yup just a hunk of junk on the corner of my desk...

"hey man you like weird razors right?"

"yes" I reply.

"want this one?"

"yes" I reply. "What would you like for it?"

"nothing really...how about that bowl thing?"
