I really like the way cella lathers. For me, It's super slick and holds lots of water. But... I'm just not a fan of the scent. Any recommendations for a similar performing soap?
Thanks, Bill

+1RazoRock Artisan series. Any scent that tickles your fancy. ~ Same formulation as Cella with different scents.

Blasphemy! Next you'll be telling us you don't like the taste of Arko either....

For what it's worth, over time the scent of cella mellows out.
I'm not a fan of the scent of Cella also, but the other day pulled out a year old red tub of it and using Marco's method (thank you, my friend), soon had a rich, slick lather going with a humble Semogue 1250 in a bowl. The aroma in the bowl was primarily and overwhelmingly that of soap.
I had my first Cella chunk delivered on Monday. Was not digging the scent. I was looking for more of an almond scent. Did not know it was the same formulation as RR Artisan. RR MdB is one of my faves. I was delivered my first stick of Arko today. That scent was not as bad as I was expecting from the things I read on the this board.

Ugh, for me, Arko is the nastiest smelling soap. I tried it twice, and then I pitched the stick in the trash.
