Been surfing and Googling looking for DE sample packs, and I'm having a hard time finding the red pack personnas in any of them. Any suggestions for best pricing/place to find these in a sample? I'd like to try at least 5 or 6 different blades, but not sure where to start.

I say that because a lot of people consider those one of their favorite blades.
I'd also add:
Lords
Dorcos
If a sampler has a those, you'll probably find one that you like.
You learn that there is not a single blade that EVERYONE loves. I love all of those, and there are others who hate one of the above. It is very subjective.
I'd also include Gillettes made in Russia or India, but I don't know enough to recommend a particular blade.

+1. I went with the WCS Everything sampler. There is a great selection.
I reviewed blades here in the review section, reviewed the Squire's comments on Shavemyface, selected three I wanted to try, and order the three packs from a vendor that sold all three. Ordered Feathers, 7 O'clock Yellows and Super Iridiums. Have so far settled on Iridiums and still sampling Yellows. My suggestion is to make up your own "sampler".
+1, that's what I did. After reading the Squire reviews it was clear that some blades just wouldn't work for me. I did initially try Derbys and Crystals because those were so popular but they didn't work well more me at all. I suppose a lot depends on your beard type but for me the sharper blades are the way to go. Iridiums are a current favorite.
I'm surprised that so few people on the boards recommend Bull Goose's samplers. They have a great range of blades. I got the MVP that came with Crystal/Personna Isrealies, Super Iridiums, Gillette 7'Oclock Yellows, Feathers, Shark Super Chromes, and Shark Standards; all of which are excellent blades.
+1 you beat me to the punch. IMO you're throwing money away on wilkinson classics, merkurs, and dorco 300's in the WCS samplers

I can't see buying a blade sampler that has Merkur's in it; they are nearly universally despised. You will end up with 9 blades that you will likely never use.
I have tried both Dorco's. The 300 was wretchedly bad, and the 301 a lot better, but far from being one of my favorite blades.
I worked through the Bullgoose Touchstone sampler, and the only blades I found fully unusable from that set were the Lord Super Stainless; they gave me a large amount of weepers on every shave.
I think the Bullgoose samplers are a better value for the money.

Edit: hmm, interesting. I assume there's a filter that bans his site or something? A vendor permaban sure does make me curious, should I be wary? I won't name the site unless someone tells me it's OK, but I assume some of you may know. I will respond by PM if anyone is curious.

I agree with the Merkurs, but the OP may be love the Dorcos like I do. Although few people like Dorcos, I think its a lot more like them than like Merkurs.
