I'm not sure that this qualifies as an "alternative" to Speick - but since Speick is one of the top creams in my rotation, I'll let you know the others that are pretty consistently in "budget shave" rotation for me:
Proraso
Cremo (Lavender and Original)
Nancy Boy

Uh....Nivea? In the blue tube. It's pretty close and works pretty well. Not as good as Speick, IMO, but close. After that, I'd agree with TBS.

Musgo Real is indeed an excellent cream but their price went too high in recent years. Way too high. So, that fact might, actually I am sure it would, disqualify it as a product of good price and available to US.

I like Baum.Be. A quickly whips up to a rich creamy later and a smooth shave.

T&H and Nancy Boy are my favorite creams, followed closely by ToBS, but none of them is much better than Speick. The small Speick tube is excellent for travel.
