Looking for a wide strop (3 inch)

Hello Gents

I'm looking for a nice 3 inch strop. I found one at classicedge.ca but since I'm from Belgium I have no idea if there will be extra costs like from customs or something else.

So maybe some of you know a store with good strops in Europe?
I saw this one but it doesn't seem the best quality?

Would love the hear suggestions from you guys.

Edit: some extra info. XL,, Hanging Razor Strop, from Russian Juchten Leather 8x 50cm ---Or 3-1/8 Wide 15 long. Nickel Plated handle and Swivel Hook.

In my opinion, Straight Razor Designs has the best strops. It will be worth spending a little extra on shipping to get one of their strops.

Tony Miller is in the USA, but his strops are the finest I've ever seen. Price point is also great and shipping is not that high.

Thank you for the reply's. I still have to check on wich one to buy. I found the big daddy on ebay yesterday and must admit that the price and looks are really great.

Ultimately all the strops mentioned will perform well for you. After a certain point you are paying for workmanship, and in the case of Tony Miller and Scrupleworks, a natural linen fabric secondary component.

The secondary felt is questionable at best.

Right you are. I don't use the felt. I never hardly ever use linen either. But the felt doesn't stop me from using the leather.

BTW the hardware is removable. Ron sells replacement leather. You could always remove the felt or even replace it with a second piece of leather.

I like the felt, myself. I can certainly get by without it, but I don't find it hurts anything. It's an HHT step-up for me on the way to what the leather gives. Can I get the same HHT skipping the felt? likely, but I like to make the stop on the felt on the way anyway, for fun if nothing else.

Well I bought a large lot of supplies of ebay and there are some strops in there as well. I will take a look at those first and if those won't work out I think I'll buy a Tony Miller with my christmas money. :D

Anyone tried whipped dog 3" Rich Man's strop?
At the price point it does bump heads with SRD... his replacement leather though is very cheap (cheaper than starshaving's BD).
