Looking for a reccomendation to replace or re-order Semogue owners club badger

This has been a great brush for me but the center bristles now flay out to the side and it just does not grab soap anymore. Is there something better for a little more money or something that is similar at a better value? Looking for opinions before I just buy another one.

Have you checked out the “brotherhood of the boar” Brotherhood of the Boar - https://www.badgerandblade.com/forum/threads/brotherhood-of-the-boar.349813/page-60#post-12386128
Lots of good conversations and pics.
I have not owned an SOC, but I do have a few Semogue LE’s that I adore. Another boar I really like is the Omega Premium Jade from Connaught. OMEGA 011842 Premium Pure Bristle, Faux Jade Shaving Brush - https://www.connaughtshaving.com/011842.html

They also have a new ivory handle as well. if you are looking for a denser knot, this is it. This thing destroys hard soaps and still keeps its shape. Tons of backbone and breaks in very quickly.

I've never used an SOC badger, but my SOC mistura is 10 years old and continues to be an excellent brush. That said, when it comes to badger brushes I have found the Yaqi 2 band badger brushes to be excellent. I know many believe that you cannot get a high quality inexpensive badger brush, but I have not found that to be true.
Another option is to put a new knot in the old SOC handle. Rudy Vey seems to be the best choice if you're not going to do it yourself. If you chose to do it yourself, I can recommend the Maggard 2 band SHD badger.

In your position I would likely replace the SOC.

Then, reward yourself with one of the other excellent suggestions!!
