what is it? i've been going back and forth with brucered at work & i cannot come up with a consensus as to what exactly this one is! please feel free to weigh in. no date code, but it is "made in USA".

Likes like a 40s Gillette Super Speed to me. The ones without date codes are hard to pin down to an exact year. This might help.

there looks like a date code on there. All I can see is a "EG". Hopefully the OP will have a better view than the picture provides.
