I have the 1305 and I love it for soaps. I have tried the 610, but I honestly like the higher loft on the 1305. I also have the Semogue SOC Two-Band badger and it is also a winner. It's higher priced, but a very good value for a badger brush.
I love my 610s. I like them so much, I have 2, one in red, one in black. If you are looking for a brush with a similar knot size and loft but a bit more backbone, consider the 620. Another great boar, IMO.
I've been wondering the same thing; I've heard the 620 1305 820 and SOC are all incredible face lathering brushes, but which one...
All the Semogue boars are great face lathering brushes. You're going to have a great brush no matter which one you pick.
I have to agree. I have the SOC boar (fairly long handle), the 830, and the 620. All work great for face lathering.

I have the 610, 830, 1305, and SOC, and it's a real tossup. You can't go wrong with any of them.
