Of course, samples from Goulet Pens is the way to go. The 5 O'Clock Shadow is unobtanium.
 
From the suggestions above: depends on how 'deep dark' you like it.
GvFC Moss Green is a really heavy green, yet still a green, no other way to describe or experience the colour. Dark enough for use in a professional environment though.
Noodler's Air-Corp Blue-Black is really deep dark. With a finer nib, one might mistake it for a black. Though it has blue in the name and no green, it's definitely a green-black. With some subtle teal to it when using a BB or stub.
