Looking for a blade match

Maher was kind enough to include three early '60s Gillette blades when he sent me the lady Gillette. This morning I tried them together and, hands down, it was the best shave I can recall ever having. I have not tried the new Personnas in this particular razor, but I did try them in an early Super Speed - this morning's shave felt and looked better, and I suspect the blades were the big reason why.

But since that's not a blade that can be come by often, is there a modern one comparable to the Gillette anyone can suggest?

I'd bet you dollars to donuts it was the blade. Which blade did Maher provide? If it was a Gillette Super Stainless, the short answer is no, there is not a modern equivalent.

Little white box, says only that they're stainless. Same ones (I think) that he's now offering in a starter kit over at the mall.
